Thanh Nguyen
Thanh Nguyen has spent over 22 years in Fortune 500 companies such as
IBM, Emerson Network Power, American Family Insurance and several
startups. He has held a variety of roles in engineering, marketing,
business development, and executive management. He was an integral
marketing leader of a telecom semiconductor startup that went IPO.
While at Emerson Network Power, he led the MicroTCA development program
that delivered the first working MicroTCA system to customer labs.
Subsequently, he joined a MicroTCA startup and led the fund raising
effort. He's currently at American Family Insurance as a marketing
strategist developing a long-term strategy for a $700M business unit.
In addition, he serves as a commercial reviewer for the National
Science Foundation Small Business Innovation Research program. Thanh
holds an MBA from Regis University and a BS in Electrical Engineering
from Penn State University. Gokhan Sozmen
Gokhan is founder of coreIPM, LLC and
project
leader of the coreIPM Free and Open Source project that is driving open
standards for xTCA. Gokhan is
an expert in UNIX kernels, SCSI, Fibre Channel, embedded controllers,
platform management, device drivers, I/O and storage subsystems. He has
over 20 years of experience in low level software development from
microcode to industrial grade OS kernels. Prior to coreIPM, Gokhan
provided technology leadership at Sandbridge Technologies, VMWare and
HP.
